Your photographer in the Landes, the Gironde and the Basque Country

Hey,
my name’s Fiona

Married to the man of my life

We’ve been together for over 15 years and have two children, a house near the forest, a cat and some chickens.

I’m 27…

For the past few years, I’ve refused to count 😂

I’ve been in the Landes since I was 15

I travelled almost diagonally across France to get here, from Paris via Clermont-Ferrand.

My favourite things in life & Fun facts

I loooooove reading

Honestly, not a day goes by without me picking up my e-reader – whether it’s a thriller or a light read, I’m a proper bookworm.

I love the English language

I’m proficient in it, but I’m far from being bilingual.

I started skateboarding at the age of 35’

I can more or less ride a bike, though I’m clearly still a bit unsure of myself, but I love it (so for those in the know, we’re talking more about dance riding than street riding).

Danakil or SOAD

You’re just as likely to find me at a Danakil gig as at a System of a Down gig.

I grew up with Harry Potter

And I’ve recently rekindled my old love affair with Pokémon (the video game version) (thanks to my child’s Switch).

Making people laugh

When I’m talking rubbish, I’m actually quite good at poking fun at myself

Earl Grey Black Tea Team

(I love coffee too, obviously) and IPA beer (and rum as well, haha).

Travelling

It’s one of my guiding principles (well, OK, I’ve never been further than Europe, but imagining myself elsewhere makes me dream and is a real driving force for me

I discovered *Stranger Things*

I got into it a bit late (I managed to watch the whole series in one go) and I’m a massive fan.

Why the photo?

Beeeeeeecauseeeeeeeeeee (read this in the tone of the Orangina advert – yes, I did say I’ve been 27 for a few years now…!) (a French thing)

On a more serious note, being a photographer gives me what inspires me most: a real sense of freedom and a connection with nature (my favourite playground is still the beach, and I love playing with natural light).

I am a photographer because:

I enjoy meeting people, chatting and forming connections – even if they’re fleeting – with strangers

I am delighted to be able to offer you some beautiful photographs and to contribute to your happiness

Do we look a bit alike?

And because I’ve also got a few specific things I’d like, here’s my photographer’s wish list:

If anything on the list takes your fancy, get in touch – we could do something fun together!
